18 Months!

It is so hard to wrap my head around the fact our little girl is a year and a half! It hadn't hit me until today at her 18 month check up when I was making her next appointment and they told me her next appointment would be her 24 month check up! YIKES! I have learned so much in these last 18 months and I have realized I have a LONG way to go and so much more to learn! We are thankful everyday for Taylor and are so happy to have such a spirited little girl to keep us laughing!

Chocolate and Limes

We had a busy day today! Taylor and I went with some of the girls from MOPS to Cerreta's in Glendale. It is a very YUMMY Chocolate factory, we got to watch them make some of their famous chocolates and sample a few items!
When Derek got home he planted his Valentine's gift from Taylor and I...a Lime tree! I would love to promise everyone some of our crop that we will have in two years, but we are a little nervous to see what the first batch will yield! Stay tuned for growth updates!

Housekeeper for hire!

For Christmas Taylor got a mini Dyson....although at Christmastime she wasn't quite ready to use it so it has been hiding in our guest bedroom. The other day she walked up to it, turned it on and started vacuuming, so we decided she was ready! I crack up at how forceful she is when sweeping back and forth, I am a little worried that is what I look like and she is imitating me!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Derek, Taylor and I celebrated Valentine's Day yesterday and went to one of our favorite restaurants out here that we haven't been to in a very long time. It is a great Mexican restaurant that has an awesome atmosphere, and even better a duck pond on their patio! Taylor has a slight obsession with ducks so we thought...Hey, we could actually eat a nice dinner AND have Taylor enjoy herself! It worked!

After dinner when we went to see the ducks up close she pointed out each duck and said "duck" and even had some conversations with them. It was a perfect night, I had such a great time with my two favorite Valentines!

I also had to post this blog today so my parents had better pictures to look at....apparently Taylor's outfit in the video is even worse than I thought and very difficult for even Grandma and Grandpa to look at haha!
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
