Happy Birthday Dad!

Today is my dad's Birthday! We are so sad we aren't able to be there to celebrate with him! We hope you have a perfect day Dad!! We love you!!!

Day at the track!

We didn't plan on going to the track today....but my great friend Robyn called today saying they were heading over and we couldn't resist! Taylor looked so cute wearing her hat that Grandma Moon gave her! My good friend Robyn recently moved to Houston so I was so excited to hear she was back in town! We went to hang out with Robyn and her husband Jordan! Robyn and Jordan are parents to Coppers best friend..Roxy..another very cute boxer! We had fun at the track and Taylor was awesome! She just "chatted" all day and loved being outside! After the track we came back to our place and played a little corn hole! We were sooo excited to see Robyn and Jordan...it has only been a few months but we miss you already!!

As I was typing this we had a very exciting first...Taylor was playing on her baby Einstein mat (which actually was from Robyn and Jordan)...and she ROLLED OVER!! She had been getting close and we would help her just a bit...but this time no one was even close to her and she did it all by herself!

Playdate!

Today we had a playdate with Molly and her son Logan. Taylor and Logan are only about 2 weeks apart! This was the first time that Taylor and another baby actually somewhat interacted! They enjoyed touching each others faces, it was super cute! We are looking forward to the next time we can get together with them! Thanks for coming over Molly and Logan!!

What happens in Vegas.....

Goes on my Blog!! Our good friends Nick and Michele Kimel attend a Chiropractic seminar every year, and every year we tag along! We like to consider ourselves Chiropractic Groupies! I think this is the 4th year for me tagging along and about 5 for Derek! The Troyer family came along as well. We had a great time over the weekend, unfortunately I didn't win as much as I was hoping...but as I said all weekend "I had fun"...I think that is all you can hope for in Vegas!! We want to say THANK YOU to Grandma Bonnie for watching Taylor, it was very tough to leave her at home, but we knew that she would have a great time with you! Thanks so much!!

And of course I think I should end my blog with a BIG....GO CARDINALS!!!!!

Hook 'Em Horns!

Our good friend Michele is Texas Alum...so we had to go out tonight and help her support her Longhorns in the Fiesta Bowl! I even borrowed a shirt for the occasion...partially because I am not a fan of Ohio State, so I was happy to have a team to support against them! We only got to stay until half time, luckily once we got home they started doing a little better...let's hope the Longhorns pulled out a victory in the end!

Happy Birthday Alyssa!

Tonight we celebrated Derek's sister Alyssa's birthday (a day early). We had a nice relaxing evening enjoying pizza, garlic knots (YUMMMM) and birthday cake! Here are a few pictures from our evening...Taylor really enjoyed playing in her cousin's bouncy chair while we were there!

Happy Retirement Grandma Moon!

Today was Bonnie's last day at the library, she is retiring after 25 years! Taylor and I were invited along with Alyssa and Beatrix to attend her going away party. Instead of a retirement party they had a "Grandma Shower" for her. She got a lot of fun things that I know the girls will love to play with at Grandma's house! They had great food and cake for us too. Thanks so much to all of Bonnie's coworkers for including us and inviting us to attend, we had a really nice time! Congratulations on your retirement Bonnie!
