Trick or Treat!

Here's a video of Taylor going to our neighbor Cindy's for her first trick or treat of the evening! She cracked me up how she walked right up there like she's been doing it for years! When she was done, she said "Goodbye Cindy, I go back to Bubby (her friend) now." Guess she didn't want to be rude, just taking the candy and leaving!

Here are some other pictures from our night! Thanks to the Troyers and Kimels for spending the evening with us! We had so much fun with all of you! And a friendly reminder for Ryan....Halloween is MINE! Haha!

We had such a cute little Flapper, Fisherman, Colt and a cute little baby Jordan to show off around the neighborhood! Can't wait for next year!

Halloween Fun!

We had such a great time last night! This was the first year we took Taylor Trick or Treating, and we had such a blast! She was very excited about her costume and couldn't wait for the big reveal to daddy!

Here's the big reveal...

I am guessing I'll never get two videos to post on the same blog, so I'll do another one!

More fall fun...

October has flown by! I can't believe tomorrow is November! Although, I am excited at all the next few months will bring...my parents for a visit, a trip back to IN, our new nephew, A visit from my sister and her family, a visit from my best friend Elizabeth and her family! Whew, after all of that, time might fly until March!

Here are some pictures of what we've been up to the last couple of weeks!
At our favorite mini pumpkin patch..St. James Catholic Church! We waited too long to head to a real pumpkin patch this year...so we went with our backup...or in our case the same place we've gone every year for the last 5 years or so!

This year's pumpkin! Derek once again used his power drill...I think this will forever be his favorite method of pumpkin carving!

There will be more to share after trick or treating tonight! Hopefully we'll get some videos as well! Happy Halloween!!

A quick trip to IN

Taylor and I just returned from a super quick trip back to Indiana for my sisters baby shower! What a fun....extremely QUICK weekend we had! Here are some highlights:

Helped Grandpa Bert with his Jeep!

Helped Grandpa carve a pumpkin...and played with Ollie A LOT!

Celebrated Baby Schrock and spent time with my sisters, mom, Grandma and my moms cousin Sue!

Lots of hugs and kisses from Grandma and Grandpa.

And I got to spend a little time with my best friend Elizabeth, her adorable little boy Josh and her hubby Jeff!

As you can tell, we made the most of our quick trip!

Dancin' in the rain!

What do you do when it actually rains in Phoenix....Dance in it! Anytime it rains out here Taylor asks to go "dancin' in the rain"! We tried yesterday when it was barely raining and it just wasn't enough...today we finally got a good downpour! Right after we came in from this it started hailing...which is definitely something we don't see out here, that video is below too!

Happy Thanksgiving...

Ok, so it isn't quite Thanksgiving, but I really liked this background, so we will just be thankful a little early! I guess this can be an early reminder to remember all we have to be thankful for on a daily basis!

I'll start...I am thankful for a wonderful husband, a beautiful and happy daughter, amazing family and the best friends I could ever hope for!

I hope you all like the background...it could be around for awhile!

"Icecone"

Taylor has become very interested as she calls them, in "icecones". Yesterday at church while she was running around outside she found a few "icecones" and wouldn't let one of them go! We watched a show recently where they made it into a bird feeder and she loved it, so we decided instead of keeping the pinecone in the house, we'd do that and she could look at it from afar! I had a meeting yesterday so daddy and Taylor did the craft together...I am not sure if birds like popcorn (that was daddy's idea) , but I guess we'll find out!

When I got home last night it was dark out so she wasn't able to show me. This morning the first thing she said when we came down the stairs was "mommy, icecone, outside!". Her memory never ceases to amaze me! It was too hot and sunny already this morning to get a good shot of her looking at the camera, so I just included one of her showing you where the "icecone" is located!
