Hamming it up!

Taylor has just been hamming it up today so I thought I would share some pictures! Normally when I try to take her picture she will stop smiling and just stare at me...not today!

I joined a fruit and veggie co-op that a bunch of my friends have been members of and got our first basket of food today! It was really exciting to see what we would get since it changes every time and you don't have a say of what you get! Today's basket had: Carrots, lettuce, avocado, broccoli, apples, oranges, onions, bananas and two things I wasn't very familiar with...acorn squash (I think I will cook that for Taylor) and lemon pears, which I had never heard of! The girl said the lemon pears will taste like lemons when they are not ripe and pears when they are ripe...I am a little scared to try them! I was so surprised at the amount of food we got! I can't wait to do it again in a few weeks! Thanks Michele, Jena and Molly for telling me about it!!
Stay tuned, I think Taylor will be having her first hair cut in the next day or so....whenever I finally do it! She has this extra layer in the back that really needs trimmed up, for some reason I am really pushing it off!

Jenn-

Thank you so much for your message on my blog about travel advice! I will be emailing you. I'm so impressed and intrigues by the fruit and veggie co-op. Sounds cool!! I wanted to let you know that Elli absolutely LOVES acorn squash. It's her favorite pureed veggie. I cut it in half, scoop out the seeds and put it in the oven on a foil lined cookie sheet (350 for 30 - 45 minutes). It's really quick and easy to blend (I use a blender) with some water (or breastmilk). Hope Taylor likes it too! I loved making Elli's baby food...she's starting to eat grown up food now. :) Talk to you soon!

p.s. Good luck on the haircut!!!
