New Tricks!

Taylor has had a big couple of weeks and I have been horrible at updating! She has been working on sitting up and is doing GREAT! She will stay up on her own for minutes at a time...she hasn't mastered catching herself yet, so she will still fall over...which doesn't seem to bother her too much! She has also started rolling off her tummy! I noticed when I would go in to get her in the mornings and from her naps that she was back on her back which seemed weird since she was always on her tummy when I'd go to get her. The other big clue was yesterday I had left the room for a minute and when I came back in she was several rolls from where I had put her on her blanket! A few minutes later she demonstrated her new skill...and did it for the rest of the afternoon/evening! It is fun that she can roll both ways now, it was a part time job rolling her back over when she would get frustrated!

She has also taken a new interest in Copper, our dog! Now that she is sitting up she can reach out and touch Copper as she walks by. I let Taylor sit on my lap and pet Copper the other afternoon and she thought it was the best thing ever, she was just laughing and trying to grab Copper....lucky for us Copper is a good sport and sat there letting her do what she wanted! I love this picture where she is just staring at Copper trying to figure out how to get over there! We are going to have our hands full when she starts crawling! Look out Copper!

Yesterday we had a fun day, we got to babysit Taylor's friend Caleb for a few hours. When I first put them down next to each other it was so cute, they were just smiling at each other and "talking" about something! Here are some cute pictures of their afternoon together! They had to take a water break since they were having some very intense play!
