For those of you that know Derek you know he loves to camp, this was something I had to get somewhat use to when we started dating! I say somewhat because I am still not sold on camping and after this weekend I am leaning toward the somewhat not wanting to go anymore! Don't get me wrong the scenery is beautiful and I love spending time with our friends, but this weekend proved to be a little more expensive and frustrating than others!
We had a couple of mishaps with the car, we will be heading to the body shop today to get our passenger door fixed and Derek had to take it to the tire place to get a new valve put on one tire (a brand new tire to be more specific). I also got eaten alive by something out there...so lets just say it will be a while before I return to the woods...I am sure Derek would go this weekend again if he could!
I did have to include pictures of the fire that Michele and I (with Ashley's supervision) built...we were pretty proud of ourselves! The boys were fishing and we decided it would be wise to start the fire so there were coals later to cook our food on...and we decided we didn't need to wait for the men to build it for us!!
