Derek, Kordell and my dad gave night fishing a try. They were spear fishing for carp....Erin and I went along to supervise! It was really fun to watch the precision that it would take to get a fish! Unfortunately on their first expedition they didn't catch any, I think they have a better idea of what it takes for next time!
Derek did have a BIG catch another day to make up for not catching any carp! He caught a 17.5 inch Walleye not too far down the channel from my parents house! We were hoping to get to taste his catch but the poor fish didn't make it through the night in the live well. This isn't the best picture, but it gets the point across!
