Halloween Fun!

I am a big fan of Halloween and this year did not disappoint! We started out our morning at the Purdue game watch (a very SCARY sight haha). Our Purdue club decided to have Breakfast Club which is a huge Purdue tradition where you dress up in a costume and go to the bars at 7:30 on game days....we didn't go until 9am, that is game time out here! The club thought it was perfect since it was Halloween, we could dress up and participate and not have people looking at us funny! I dressed up as a bridesmaid and Taylor as a Purdue cheerleader!

After the game we carved our pumpkin! Derek discovered last year how much easier life is when he uses his drill to carve the pumpkin. Last year Taylor was too little to appreciate the efforts, this year she was very interested! Here is a cute video of Derek drilling into the pumpkin and Taylor's initial reaction!

After pumpkin carving of course came Trick or Treating. We let Taylor go to our next door neighbor and one house across the street. She liked when people put things in her pumpkin but she wanted to immediately take them out and carry them. My favorite was across the street she sat down on their front stoop and started unloading her pumpkin (all 2 pieces of candy), meanwhile real Trick or Treaters were trying to get around her!
