Taylor is insistent on helping in the kitchen. If she sees me starting to do something other than filling a cup with water she runs in and says " Cooking, Cooking", grabs a chair and pushes it over to the counters to "help" out. I have to say it is fun having her "help" and I enjoy the company, however, our kitchen is not very big so it does create a little bit of a challenge. Today I was getting ready to make some pizza dough and she came running in, grabbed an apron out of the pantry for me, runs over to her play kitchen, grabs an apron for herself and pulls up her trusty "helper chair"!
As you can see her activity today was a little more of licking the measuring spoons, which I would like to make sure anyone that is eating at my house knows I generally go through several sets of measuring spoons and cups because she is licking them...I don't reuse them after Taylor licks!
A bonus picture...I took this one this morning when Taylor was having her morning conversation with Derek. This picture says a lot to me....1. Mom I am busy talking to my daddy, please don't bother me! 2. I think I am WAY older than I am! and 3. I might have my hands full when she can actually start calling her friends! I am sensing a lot of attitude w
hile she is on the phone!
